Even before becoming part of a viral sensation, many listeners viewed “Black Beatles” as one of the standout tracks on Rae Sremmurd’s SremmLife 2 album.
The single is now the duo’s first Top 10 hit on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart.
It currently sits at #9 on the tally of most popular singles in the country.
“Black Beatles” being used as the soundtrack for the #MannequinChallenge has helped spread the song across the internet.
Social media users post videos of a crowd of people standing frozen in place as Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi’s tune plays in the background.
The song was produced by Mike Will Made It and features Atlanta rap legend Gucci Mane.
