The New Orleans rapper cleared up the rumors in an Instagram Live session with Nicki Minaj.
Lil Wayne recently shared a photo with the caption “The Carters” and it gave thousands of his fans the impression that he was legally hitched.
Nicki said: The other day, it was some tweets going on, and I was like, ‘Oh, what’s going on?’ and I texted you and I was like, ‘Oh, Congratulations. I can tell you’ve been in a good mood’. And I said, ‘Congratulations,’ because I thought you had gotten married.
Wayne explained that he was talking about something else entirely. I’m so glad you asked me that. I did not get married. I said ‘The Carters,’ and girl, that’s my damn sons, that’s my sons’ little name of their little group.
In April, Lil Wayne stirred up speculation that he married his on-again-off-again supermodel girlfriend Denise Bidot. Happiest man alive! Today is the beginning of our forever. Forever?? Forever, ever?? FOREVER EVER!!!!! The Carters.
Following the confirmation of his marital status, Nicki proceeded to ask her buddy what his favorite sex position was.
