* LIL WAYNE IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER SUFFERING ANOTHER SEIZURE – REPORT
Rapper LIL WAYNE is reportedly fighting for life at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering a second series of seizures in a week.
The hitmaker has been placed in an induced coma, according to TMZ.com, and he has been listed in critical condition.
Lil Wayne, real name Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., was initially hospitalised in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (12Mar13) after suffering multiple seizures. He was released on Wednesday (13Mar13) but taken back to the medical centre hours later after a bodyguard found him lying unconscious in his room.

Lil Wayne’s reps are shooting down the notion that he missed the Saturday SummerFall concert in Curacao due to seizures.
Curacao , which lies off the coast of Venezuela, was supposed to feature French Montana, Fat Joe, Jeremih, Yo Gotti, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, and Lil Wayne. However, Wayne backed out of the date.
Wayne’s team is reportedly stating that a “breach of contract” is the cause of the sudden cancellation, not seizures as previously reported.
Curaçao Color Events denied any wrongdoing on their side.
“Contrary to recent reports, Color Events met all contractual obligations for Lil Wayne to perform at the SummerFall concert tonight. We are still investigating the reason for the last-minute cancellation and have nothing further to comment on except that although we are disappointed Lil Wayne will not be performing, we excited about the lineup of artists who will be performing tonight.”
Whether or not Wayne had an ailment is to be determined, but he has a storied history with seizures. The rap star has had several instances, including this year.
