In February, HNHH premiered YFN Lucci’s “Key to the Streets” single ahead of his the release of his mixtape Wish Me Well 2. The song featured Migos and Trouble; in the official remix, Lucci ratchets up the ante with additional verses from 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne.
Lucci was one of only two features on 2 Chainz’s Daniel Son; Necklace Don. (The other was Drake.) Tity Boi has had a phenomenal 2016 to date and he adds to his resume with an excellent first verse on the “Key to the Streets” remix. Wayne has been slightly more inconsistent, but as he did on “No Problem,” he follows up Chainz with a memorable verse of his own.
“I’m a young cat coming into the game. I always been a fan of Weezy F. Baby,” Lucci says. “I was just thankful that he blessed me with a verse.”
Quotable Lyrics
I got a .38 special, it got black tape ’round the handle, uh uh
I got a lock on my shoe, that’s a Buscemi pattern
Rest in peace Johnny, man
He had more keys than Khaled
